I'M BOUNCING!!!Mar 09, 2010 Ok I just received this bra in the mail like 10 minutes ago. I was sooooo excited after reading the review. Well to start i'm a 42G. I'm very top heavy so I thought this was the sports bra for me. NOTTTTTTT!!! I'm bouncing all over the place in this bra. It fits good yeah but HECK NO it does not stop my joints from bouncing. I'm very dissappointed. Now i'm going to have to purchase another sports bra to go over it to control the bounce. I would send it back but i'm ready to get my butt in the gym. I just know I won't be ordering another one. Where are the good sports bras to hold us truly big busted woman from bouncing! *sigh*
Not supportive enough...Mar 03, 2010 Not supportive enough for D cup-ers for high impact sports like running. Still too much bounce.
I love this braFeb 26, 2010 I purchased this bra from Lingerie Divia- Amazon, (also know as GiGi's Closet) and I love it. Finally I have a sports bra or every day bra that is comfortable and fits. No uniboob, and no bounce, no over spill. This bra is fit to your exact size. European sizes do not add 5 inches to your band size! Instead they add it to the cup.
Here is what I learned from reading other websites. Measure the circumference (not super tight) of the area just below your breasts where the band will reside. That is you band size. Then measure the circumference over the top of your breast (over the nipples). Subtract the band size from breast measurement and you have your cup size. One inch difference is a size A, two inch size B and so on.
I also found a place that specialized in bra fittings in my town. Best to double check these measurements with a professional. But once you do, the world is wide open to bras that will support you and look great too. I am no way affiliated with the above seller; I just love the product and will buy from them again.
Fantastic support...not a racerbackFeb 14, 2010 This is a great bra. Even though it has seams on the front that are visible through your shirt, they're there for a reason. If you study the construction, there are heaftier, support panels on the bottom half of the cup. I use the bra for running. It does a good job of preventing the girls from bouncing up, and a FANTASTIC job of preventing them from crashing down. The only thing I would like to see is a racerback version of this bra (which I wrote the company about) because I can't wear it with about half of my tops. The bra cost enough without having to buy all new workout tops.
Incidentally, I got a reply from the customer service representative at Anita who had the same opinion I have about a racerback option. She told me she'd forward my feedback to the design team. Great company! This is not to confuse the the Anita Company with this seller - the packaging the bra came in was less than great. The box was shipped in an envelope and arrived crushed. If I had to return the bra for any reason, they would not have been happy. Be sure about your size before buying, get professionally measured (most department stores do it). Most women have no idea what their true bra size is (I had no idea I was a 36D, I thought I was a 38C). This will prevent the need for returns.
In the end, I plan to buy a second bra, one is simply not enough. It's totally depressing to go back to the traditional uni-boob sports bras.
If your researching, you've found it.Feb 09, 2010 If you are researching and looking for a bra with great support because you are larger upstairs than all your friends who don't understand what we go through, then this is the bra for you. Before purchasing my Anita, I spent hours reading reviews on this sports bra and others. Although my sisters are basically smashed together and to my chest, they are not going anywhere. Believe me I did my usual bra tests of jumping up, j. jacks and running, and they are well supported. The Extreme control really helps them from moving which helps me focus on working out, with out the worry and self consciousness that I always had before.
