Smoothes fine, but light on controlJul 30, 2010
I had a slip in the same style as this one that I loved for years. It was starting to show wear, so I ordered this one hoping to replace it. (I have not been able to find slips in this style in stores anywhere!) Overall, this is a pretty good slip, but it did not offer the amount of control that I prefer. It will definitely smooth things out under slim-fitting dresses, but it will not really "suck you in," so to speak. Also, I would not recommend this for really tight, thin, or sheer dresses as the built-in panty can cause unsightly lines. The good qualities are that it does not ride up, it smoothes things out, and it is short enough to wear under short dresses. I only wish it were a little stronger.

Very Slimming and FeminineJan 14, 2008
I have worn these type of slips under short skirts and dresses for several years and I have found it very difficult to find this style of slip. I was ecstatic when I stumbled upon this item on Amazon.com. This slip by Rago is very feminine, slimming and smooth enough to wear undetected under my thinnest and tightest fitting skirts. I love the lace at the bottom which adds a sexy appeal if it slips out occasionally from below the hemline. The reason I rate it a 4 rather than a 5 is due to the fact that the seam has a small tear at the waistband which I was able to fix easily but I should not have had to. I wish they would make this slip in other colors, especially red, pink and purple.
