5Most comfortable bra I ownJan 01, 2010
By Pamela Pailes
I have now owned my Spanx Bra-llelujah bra for 6 months, and not only is it the most comfortable bra I own, it has held up to regular wear and washings in the washing machine. I have a nude colored bra and I wear it at least four days a week, because no other bra matches it - it's as close to not wearing a bra at all as you can get. I love no hooks, no metal clasps, and nothing to dig in - anywhere! Some people have commented about the printed "tag" information, but I have never even noticed it.

Initially, I was skeptical about the lack of adjustable straps and back, but this bra does self adjust, and if you get the right size bra, it will not stretch out or lack support. I am hard to fit 32 normally, and I did have to go up a cup size to get the right cup fit (no rolling cups). My mom had to go down a band size, to get the right fit around the rib cage. I recommend going to a Dillard's (where they carry these bras) and trying a few on to find the best fit for you before ordering one on line. I am now ordering another nude bra and plan to order more in other colors. Amazon's price is better than the price on the Spanx website, but [...] has some colors not available here.

Just a note - if you don't have time to handwash the bra, wash it on cold in a bra or lingerie bag, then hang dry.

If you are tired of bra bands digging into your back and straps denting your shoulders, this is the bra for you!

5I forget I have it on - and I'm a 34E!Apr 15, 2012
By Anne Young Fritsche
This is my Holy Grail of bras. I found my first one (new with tags) at a consignment store, and there's been no turning back! I am 5"2, hourglass-shaped, with a narrow back, small shoulders, and a double mammarian embarrasment of riches from both grandmothers. This bra makes me feel like a Victoria's Secret model, but in a better-constructed bra!

What do I love about this bra?
- Front-close! SOOOO hard to find above a C cup!!
- Molded cups. (If I get cold, I'm the only person in the room who knows - YAY.)
- Smooth, smoothing, non-binding back that stays put and does not cut in, EVER.
- Comfy, padded straps that don't fall down. (Weirdly, they're not adjustable, but they've never fallen down on me. I'm short - 5'2" - but the strap length has not been a problem. I've had bras that I couldn't make the straps short *enough*, so this is a revelation.)
- Durable. I machine-wash mine in a lingerie bag on cold, and either dry them hanging up or laying flat. They still look new after a year.
- NOT a granny bra! I have battled this granny look since I was a teen, and I'm in my mid-40's. Nice plunge, and no three-hook or four-hook back.
- BOMBSHELL EFFECT. I stand up straighter because my back feels lighter, and BAM! My decolletage looks like it should, with no discomfort, binding, cutting, poking.... and perfectly smooth with the molded cups, front-close clasp and hosiery-type back. (almost bra-less looking, like they're perfectly suspended in my early 20's...) ;)

I have purchased the Spanx minimizer (unlined, front close), and while it's just as comfortable as this style, the minimizing effect was... bleah. I felt flattened, and there was too much nip-pokage for my taste.

I've been a huge fan of both the SassyBax bralette and full-length stretch camisole, but there was a bit too much nip-poke and their sizing in both XL and L (no cup sizes) didn't quite stretch enough, so I had to be really careful to avoid four-boob effect when wearing t-shirts. Decent breast support, though, and very comfortable.

I've been professionally fitted and worn lots of La Mystere (Oprah, you LIED!), Wacoal, Donna Karan, Chantelle, Natori... nothing compares to this one.

THIS style, however, is magic to me. It is the ONLY bra I've ever worn that I've forgotten I have on. Seriously, there are multiple times when I've come home at the end of the day, change into my loungey clothes for the evening, and realize HOURS later that I've still got my bra on, and only because I happened to see it - not because I felt it! (Just for perspective, there were days I'd take my bra off in my car on my home from work.)

I can't believe I just wrote this much about something so personal, but the Bra-llelujah is just that special. I've struggled with bras my whole life, and this one is a dream come true for me.

**Note about sizing: I am a 34E, but I wear the 36DD. The band is still snug and supportive, and the cup accomodates perfectly. Most of my fullness is underneath, so the DD cup provides me room for proper, um, "distribution".
My advice to any woman is always, try on the bra! Never rely on previous measurements from a 'fitting'. Experiment with different combos of cup and bandsize, if the fit is not quite right. There is so much difference from style to style, and brand to brand.

I love the way it fits, but am unhappy for not being able to adjust the shoulder strap.

5It's super comfortable and no back rolls!Oct 17, 2008
By L. Barnard
I hesitated to purchase this bra because of some of the negative reviews and the price. I have to say that mine fits me perfectly and is comfortable right out of the package. The back band material is stretchy and you don't get the back bulge like with regular bras. The size is exactly perfect. I'm a 38D and it fits me great and doesn't squish down my boobs like some other bras do. It is a bit pricey but not so much more than I've been paying for VS bras at $[...] a pop.

5Fantastic Comfortable BraMar 25, 2008
By Kathy T. Doyle
I was so very pleased with this bra. I am a large breasted woman who is very petite and find that this bra is so comfortable; yet holds me very well. And another plus is that it makes the shape of my breasts look really nice in clothing.
