comfortable and fits better over timeJul 08, 2010 I've had two of these bras for nearly a year and at first I was a little annoyed about the way they rode up in the back. As other reviewers have stated, there is no way to adjust the straps and as a bra is supposed to sit lower on the back than we usually think, this bra can seem a bit frustrating. But, I have to say, after owning these for so long, that they are my favorite bras for comfort and ease. I typically have a hard time keeping bra straps up and often haver resorted to those clear strap hooks one can purchase at Jo-Anne Fabrics that pull the straps together in the back, but these straps never ride down. And after a bit of time, the bra actually fits better and, even if it does occasionally ride up in the back, I don't even notice it. I'm looking to purchase more of these. I don't have the support issues other women have spoken about because I'm a B, so I don't know anything about that. For my size, the bra is plenty supportive. They have held up well (mine look new still, but I only wash my bras with Woolite in the sink and air dry them); so, in my case, other reviewers' concerns about them falling apart due to the material is unfounded.
BAH-lleluja to This Bra!May 08, 2010 This bra, like all Spanx products is simply glorified hosiery. It is not made for support. Yeah, if you decide to wear it, you may think you are braless. Even so, it does not do jack for support and you can't adjust the straps. After a few washings, the straps, which are just stockings will start to wear out.
Spanx has gotten a lot of celebrity endorsements which are a large part of its faddish appeal. Celebrity or no celebrity endorsement, this bra is nothing but a heap of glorified hosiery. You'll do much better with other brands.
If you like a bra with no support... This will work for you.Feb 14, 2010 This bra is so "comfortable" it's like you don't have one on. And if you like your boobs to feel unsupported. This is perfect! It gets stretched out after a couple wears and then you CANT adjust it. So now I own an expensive useless bra.
No supportJan 25, 2010 I thought for $62.00 this bra would be fabulous... especially since it was SPANX. The support is not good if you are heavy on top! I've worn it a couple of times now, and I agree that it is comfortable, but there is no support. I feel like I could fall out of the bottom, and the back coverage is not as good as advertised either.
Works for my pregnant boobs!Jan 15, 2010 I found this bra at a maternity store. It has nothing to do with pregnancy but the saleswoman assured me that I would love it because during this time when I might be uncomfortable, this was a very comfy bra.
She was absolutely right. I like this bra so much better than my other bras. Usually I am dying to take off my bra at the end of a work day but this one usually feels very supportive all day so, sometimes I leave it on.
My only complaint that keeps it from getting 5 stars is that you can't adjust the shoulder straps and sometimes I feel that during the course of a day the elastic stretches too much and doesn't support as well in the PM as it did in the AM.
